sceneCOM S is a small application controller for DALI-2 and is designed for a room solution.
It also has four potential-free inputs for connection of momentary pushbuttons or signal relays.
Thanks to its compact design, sceneCOM S is best installed in a mounting box behind the pushbutton.
It is connected to the DALI-2 circuit and draws max. 30 mA. sceneCOM S must therefore be combined with a DALI power supply unit (for example DALI PS3).
sceneCOM S has a built-in Bluetooth antenna that is used to connect the unit to the app on a tablet (iOS or Android).
The system uses Bluetooth to connect the app on the tablet to the relevant sceneCOM S in the room.
Commissioning
Download the ‘sCS Commissioning’ app to your tablet free of charge.
Commissioning can then take place in two stages to minimise the time on site:
1. In the office: Offline programming in the app using graphic room planning with fittings, sensors and pushbuttons (it is also possible to import a 2D drawing).
You can also create templates in the app, for example for a standard classroom that can be used as a basis.
If you have several similar rooms, you can also clone the off-the-shelf offline programming to several rooms using the app.
2. On site: Connect the app on your tablet to sceneCOM S via Bluetooth and create a simple link between the offline programming in the app and the physical installation on site.
The link means that you identify the physical units visually (fittings, sensors and pushbuttons) and connect them to your room planning in the app using drag & drop.
Please note that identification and linking must always take place on site in each room to connect the offline programming to the correct physical units in each room.
Note also that if the room planning needs to be adjusted on site in each room, it can be modified/updated in the app.
